Medical assistance systems

Customised technology for more
Occupational safety, ergonomics and efficiency

We develop and design state-of-the-art medical assistance systems, such as lightweight exoskeletons, for and with our customers. Their possible uses are not limited to therapy and rehabilitation, but also include industrial applications to increase occupational safety and efficiency. Within the scope of product development, we use simulation methods to design these assistance systems and, among other things, also apply the  ema Software Suite one. "ema" is the world's only autonomously operating digital human model. In all our in-house developments, we pay attention to ergonomic product design right from the start. We produce prototypes and carry out stress and practical tests to ensure that the newly developed medical assistance system meets our customers' requirements exactly and even exceeds their expectations.

⚙ Medical assistance systems

Technology that benefits people strengthens, not replaced.

We develop and manufacture lightweight exoskeletons and medical assistance systems on behalf of our clients. Tailored for therapy, rehabilitation and industrial health and safety. From the initial concept to certified small-batch production, all from a single source.

Our services

Customised development and manufacturing for your driver assistance systems

Whether it’s an exoskeleton, a gripping aid or a rehabilitation device: we handle the entire development and manufacturing process for you. From requirements analysis through simulation and prototyping to ISO-certified small-batch production.

Treatment & Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation and therapy

Lightweight exoskeletons provide targeted support for movement patterns in hand, arm and shoulder rehabilitation. We develop and manufacture these systems to meet your clinical requirements.

Product development

From idea to product

We support you every step of the way, from concept through to simulation, prototyping and stress testing, right through to small-batch production. We always use the digital human model ‘ema’ as the basis for our design work.

Industry & Health and Safety at Work

Industrial applications

Assistive systems improve ergonomics and reduce musculoskeletal disorders. We develop and manufacture systems that can be used in both medical and industrial settings.

Our process

Your path to a complete solution

Structured, transparent and always focused on the goal: your market-ready product.

01

Requirements analysis

Together, we identify technical, ergonomic and regulatory requirements. Accurately and comprehensively.

02

Simulation and Design

Using the ema human model, we simulate loads and optimise the system design virtually.

03

Prototyping and testing

Rapid prototyping and real-world stress tests ensure that the product works properly before it goes into production.

04

Small-batch production

ISO-certified small-batch production with full documentation for your approval.

ema A digital human model that is unique in the world

technological advantage

Simulate before you invest

Mistakes made during the specification phase end up costing many times more later on. That is why we use ema, the world’s only fully autonomous digital human model, to design your assistance system virtually before the first prototype is built.

Biomechanical simulation of real-world usage scenarios

Ergonomic optimisation without costly retrofitting

Verifiable data for your regulatory documentation

Shorter development times thanks to data-driven decisions

Double the value

Developed once. Suitable for two markets.

Medical assistance systems are no longer a niche product. The same technology used in rehabilitation helps to ease the workload on production staff and has been shown to reduce absenteeism due to musculoskeletal disorders. We design our products for both areas of application right from the start.

Treatment and rehabilitation: wrist, arm, shoulder

Industry: Back relief, shoulder support, gripping aids

Customisation to suit body measurements and workflow

Suitable for both areas of application
